This article is intended for administrators.
When using the Skills & Career product, it is possible to perform a bulk import of your skill matrices and assign employees to the corresponding matrix.
🤓 Import skills only
The default skills import model is available at this link.
Once the file is completed, you can import it directly into Elevo (csv or xlsx format) in the "Skills" tab by clicking on "Import your skills". In case of an error, an error report will be sent to you by e-mail.

💡 Note: Only users with global admin rights or competence admin rights have access to this import.
Once the file is completed, you can import it directly into Elevo in the "Competence Matrices" tab by clicking on "Add a competence matrix" and then "Import your competence matrix" and then "Import your competence matrix."
You will need to upload a file in the modal that will open, in xlsx or csv format, with a maximum size of 5 MB.
In case of an error, an error report will be sent to you by e-mail.
Import rules
- Only one file can be imported at a time,
- The allowed formats are: xlsx or csv,
- Maximum weight of 5 MB,
- Matrices are imported by default as unpublished,
- If a matrix already exists with the same name, the new matrix will not be published,
- The import does not allow updating existing data,
- If a skill not associated with a domain already exists with the same label, the duplicate skill will be created with a (2) at the end of the label,
- If a skill associated with a domain already exists with the same label, the expectations for this shared skill must be aligned and strictly identical.
