⚒️ Manage skills associated with a matrix
➕ Add a skill or skill domain
- In the "Skills" product, click on the "Matrices and skills" tab,
- Select the relevant skills matrix by clicking on its title,
- Click on the "➕" between two lines,
Here you have three options:
1️⃣ “Create a skill”
You'll need to follow the creation steps (title and level(s)), then you can save it by clicking on the associated menu and "Create the skill".
2️⃣ “Add an existing skill”
Simply select the skill from your library by searching for it and then selecting it.
You then need to match the skill levels with those of the matrix. This is simply done in the form of a mapping table:
You will then see the content of the expectations associated with the level and can modify or disassociate it if necessary.
3️⃣ “Add a skills domain”
All you have to do is select the skill domain that exists in your library by searching for it, then selecting it and clicking on "Add the domain".
❌ Dissociate a skill or domain from a matrix
- In the "Skills" product, click on the "Matrices and skills" tab,
- Select the relevant skills matrix by clicking on its title,
- Click on the "Trash" icon 🗑️ to the right of the skill or skill domain title.
💡 Note : If a skills domain is disassociated, the skills linked to the domain will also be removed from the matrix. If reviews have already been shared, then the domain and its skills will remain visible on those reviews. If necessary, you will need to reopen the self-assessment to get the latest version of the matrix.
🔀 Modify the correspondence between matrix levels and skills
- In the "Skills" product, click on the "Matrices and skills" tab,
- Select the relevant skills matrix by clicking on its title,
- Select the expected level from the drop-down menu. By default, only the first 100 characters of the expectation are displayed. Click on "display expectation" to see its full content.
💡 Note : If no expectation level is selected for a skill, then the skill will not be visible in the matrix and will not be evaluated.
👀 View employees associated with a matrix

- Select the relevant skills matrix by clicking on its title,
- Go to the "Associated employees" tab, where you can view the employees associated with the matrix, consult their profile by clicking on their name, and unassociate them by clicking on the "Trash" icon 🗑️ at the end of the line.
💡 Note : It is not yet possible to associate an employee with a matrix directly from this tab. This is done individually from the employee profiles, or via an import: Import skills matrices and/or assign employees to a matrix
❌ Delete a skills matrix

🙋🏻♂️ Questions
➡️ If I add a skill to an domain that is already in a matrix, is this skill automatically added to the matrix?
Yes, the skill will be added directly to the matrix that already includes that domain.
➡️ What happens if I remove a skill from a domain?
The skill will be automatically removed from all matrices where it has been added thanks to the domain.
➡️ What happens if I add a skill domain to a matrix already containing a skill from the domain?
The domain is added and the skill will be grouped in the domain in question.
➡️ What happens if I associate skills already present in a matrix with a domain that I don't add to the matrix?
The skills remain as they are in the matrix, the domain is not added.
➡️ If I indicate in the review that I can't/can't assess the domain, can the skills in the domain still be assessed?
Skill and domain ratings are independent, so I can assess the skills individually and not assess the domain as a whole, and vice versa.
