When you deploy the Skills & Career product, we offer you the option of importing your matrices and then assigning them to employees in bulk (Import skills matrices and/or assign employees to a matrix).
Thanks to our new associated feature, you can now set up automatic assignment rules so that matrices are updated on the basis of a pre-defined criterion, saving you a considerable amount of time!

🔗 How do you define the assignment criterion?
The assignment criterion must be a profile field from the list below:
- Job title,
- Department,
- Team name,
- Service,
- Custom fields (Customize the fields available on an employee profile).
Generally speaking, the “Job title” field is the most relevant for this purpose.
Once you have selected the criteria, please contact Elevo Support (support@elevo.io) so that we can finalize the settings.
🖍️ How do you create an assignation rule for a given matrix?
To create a rule, go to the matrix concerned, then to the “Associated employees” tab.
⚠️ Warning : If you have not previously contacted our support team to validate the assignment criteria, this button will not appear.
- Click on “ Set up automatic assignment ”,
- Here you must select one or more values from each drop-down menu, in order to define the level to which the employees concerned by these values will be associated,
💡 Note : For reasons of consistency, a value selected for one level will not be available for selection for another level.
- Once you have completed the assignment, click on “Save the assignment criteria”,
- The assignation will be performed automatically after saving. This may take a few seconds when a large number of employees are involved.
💡 Note : The assignation is then automatically updated every two hours.
