A new feature has been added to our People Review product: successor selection.
✏️ Definition
A successor is an employee identified to take over the tasks and responsibilities of another employee in the event of his/her departure. The choice of successors ensures continuity of operations and the continuity of skills within the company.
What does this feature deliver?
- Assurance of continuity ➡️ By identifying and planning successors, companies can guarantee continuity of operations and minimize interruptions in the event of the departure of a key employee,
- Time-saving ➡️ Automatic suggestion of successors based on the skills matrix saves assessors time and enables them to make more informed decisions,
- A personalized approach ➡️ The ability to search through the entire user directory and order successors according to the company's specific needs offers great flexibility and personalization in talent management.
📌 Successors selection
Add a successor
In order to select successors, assessors or admins must access the "Identify one or more potential successors" block in the people review of the employee concerned.
Then click on "Add a successor" to select the desired successors.
💡 Note : A maximum of 5 successors can be defined.
Rank successors
You can then order the successors in order of relevance by selecting and dragging each successor.
Delete a successor
To delete a successor, simply click on the delete icon 🗑️ at the end of the line.
🔍 Successors suggestion
Elevo helps reviewers identify potential successors by highlighting employees who share the same level of the skills matrix as the employee being evaluated.

➡️ Are successors informed of their designation as such?
No, only People Review reviewers and users with global or performance administrator rights can access this information.
➡️ Are reviewees informed that successors to their position have been designated?
No. Confidentiality rules are the same as for People Review, and the reviewee has no access to this information.
