The new employee Professional Background tab makes it possible to centralize all the essential information about the positions held by the employee, as well as compensation data, in a secure manner.
Your discussions and decisions will be more effective and more objective thanks to this consolidated view, while maintaining optimal confidentiality based on your role.
π What information is available?
- Job title,
- Start date and end date (if the position is not currently held),
- Fixed annual compensation and its currency,
- Variable annual compensation and its currency,
- A % change calculated automatically between 2 compensation figures.
π‘ Note: By default, compensation information (see below which users can see these items) is hidden. You will need to click on the eye button ποΈ at the top right of the screen.
π Who can see the professional background tab?
Information related to professional experience
The employee's professional background is visible to the employee, direct and indirect managers and all users with any type of administrative rights.
Only users with the Global Administrator role can modify the information (add or remove a step in the professional background).
Compensation-related information
The following users can view an employee's compensation data:
- users with the Global Administrator role,
- the indirect managers of this employee,
- the employee's direct manager, if set up as such (by default, this is visible to the direct manager),
- the employee.

π Compensation evolution
Once two compensation figures have been entered, a percentage change is automatically calculated.
The formula is: ((Fixed compensation B - Fixed compensation A) / Fixed compensation A).
π‘ Note: The result is rounded to the nearest integer.
The display will change depending on the rate:
- If the result is > 0, a green label with the rate of increase appears,
- If the result is = 0, nothing is displayed
- If the result is < 0, a red label with the rate of decrease appears.
β How to complete an employee's professional career?
Adding a position
To add a position, click the button in the top right corner of the employee's professional background.
You will then need to fill in the various fields in the modal and click on "Add a job".
- The job title (up to 140 characters),
- A start date (required) and an end date (optional)
- The fixed annual compensation and its currency (optional),
- The variable annual compensation and its currency (optional).
Modifying a position
Hover your mouse over the position to be edited, then click on the pencil βοΈ that appears on the right side of the screen. You can then edit the items and click on "Update the job".
Removing a position
Hover your mouse over the position to be edited, then click on the trash can ποΈ that appears on the right side of the screen. You can then edit the items and click on "Delete the job".

β‘οΈ Is it possible to add or remove a position while synchronization is active?
It is possible to add or remove a position while synchronization is active. Synchronization will not overwrite what has been entered manually.
