The new employee professional background tab allows all essential information regarding the positions held by the employee as well as remuneration data to be centralised in a secure manner.

Your discussions and decisions will be more effective and more objective thanks to this consolidated view while maintaining optimal confidentiality based on your role.

🎁 What information is available?

• The name of the position,
• A start date and an end date (unless the position is currently held),
• A fixed annual remuneration + its currency,
• A variable annual remuneration + its currency,
• A % increase automatically calculated between 2 salaries.

💡 Note: By default, compensation information (see below which users have visibility on these items) is hidden. You will need to click on the eye button 👁️ at the top right of the screen.

👀 Who has visibility on the professional background tab?

Information related to professional experience

The employee's professional background is visible to the employee, direct and indirect managers and all users with any type of administrative rights.

Only users with a role of global administrator can modify the information (add or remove a step in the professional background).

Remuneration-related information

Users who have the possibility to view the remuneration data of an employee are:

• users having the role of global administrator,
• the indirect managers of this employee,
• if this has been set as such: the direct manager of the employee (by default this is visible to the direct manager),
• the employee.

📈 Evolution of remuneration

From two remunerations entered, a percentage increase is automatically calculated.

The formula is: ((Fixed Remuneration B - Fixed Remuneration A) / Fixed Remuneration A).

💡 Note: The result is rounded up or down.

Depending on the rate, the display varies:

• If the result is > 0, a green label with the rate of increase appears,
• If the result is = 0, nothing is displayed
• If the result is < 0, a red label with the rate of decrease appears.
