This article is intended for administrators.
The "Conversations" feature allows administrators to collect more information from an employee who has commented during their participation in a survey. If the campaign is anonymous, the anonymity of the employee is strictly respected throughout the exchange.
🗣️ How to start a discussion?
A conversation can be initiated when an employee participates in an anonymous or non-anonymous survey where a comment has been left.
- If the survey is anonymous, the conversation will also be anonymous in its entirety,
- If the survey is not anonymous, the employee's name will appear in the discussion.
Only a user with admin rights on the Surveys product can initiate the discussion. An employee can only leave a comment, but cannot initiate the exchange.
💡 Note: Direct or indirect managers do not have access to their reports' conversations.
🙋🏻♀️ Converse as an admin
Start the conversation
To start a conversation with a collaborator, go to Surveys > Related Campaign > Detailed Results.
You will then need to navigate between the questions, and click on "Start a conversation" at the level of the comments left at the bottom of the page.
💡 Note: Only text-based questions or questions with a comment field enabled are concerned.
A modal will pop up, allowing you to send the first message in reply to the participant. If the campaign is anonymous, the participant's identity is masked and it will appear as "Anonymous".
Respond to conversations already started
Each response from the participant will result in a notification being sent to the admin who initiated the conversation. By clicking on "View message" it will be possible to answer it.
Access to ongoing conversations can also be done:
- Either in the same way as to initiate the conversation, from the detailed results of the campaign, by clicking on "Open the conversation":
- Either from the "Conversations" tab in the management of the campaign concerned:
🙋🏻♂️ Chat as an employee
As an employee, a notification will be sent to me when an admin initiates a conversation from a response left to a text question or comment. I just need to click on "View the message" to access it.
I can also access ongoing conversations from the "My Conversations" tab in the Surveys side menu.
