📝 How to prepare the mass assignment of employees to compensation bands?
To do this, it will be necessary to fill out the import file available on this link.
The format of the import file is very simple:
- the user's login in the first column (mandatory) ➡️ in most cases, this is the employee's email. In some cases, it is possible that you have users without an email, and you will need to provide their login identifier (usually a staff number).
- the name of the compensation band to associate (mandatory),
- the level of the compensation band to associate (mandatory).
💡 Note: You can include in the import employees who already have an associated compensation band on Elevo. The band provided for the import will replace the existing one. If an employee is included in the import but no band is indicated, then the band currently assigned on Elevo will be dissociated (the employee will no longer have a band on Elevo).
📥 How to perform the bulk assignment of employees to compensation bands?
Once the file is prepared, please send it to our Support in csv or xlsx format, which will process it within 3 business days (Processing times for Elevo Support requests).
👤 How to manually assign a compensation band to an employee?
In the user profile, in the "Professional background" section, you can view the level associated with the employee and modify it.
- The button highlighted in yellow allows you to modify the compensation band to which the employee is attached, as well as the level.
- The green section provides information on the current band and level of the employee.
- The blue part corresponds to the maximum and minimum values of the band, only the fixed remuneration is displayed.
👀 Access to information
Access to this page depends on the user's role. Only authorized users can access it, and each user only sees the data they are authorized to view.
For global administrators and compensation administrators:
- Complete visibility on the assignment of employees to the compensation bands.
Indirect managers (N+2 and beyond):
- If the band is published, they can see all information regarding the positioning of their subordinate hierarchy, but cannot modify it.
- If the band is not published, they can only see the name of the band and the level at which the employee is positioned (the amounts are concealed).
Managers directs (N+1) :
- If the band is published, and the manager has visibility on the employee's compensation information, then they can see their positioning, but cannot modify it.
- If the band is not published, or if the manager does not have visibility on the employee's compensation information, then they can only see the name of the band and the level at which the employee is positioned (the amounts are concealed).
Employees:
- If the band is published, and the employee has visibility on the band or their level, then the employee has a complete view of the band.
- If the band is not published, the employee can only see the name of the band to which they are attached, as well as their level (the amounts are hidden).
📊 What data is displayed?
In order to maintain readability, only the fixed compensation is displayed in this block, on the profiles of the employees. A user with visibility rights on the compensation band can open it to view the complete details.
The minimum and maximum fixed compensation data are calculated based on the employee's work time ratio. For example, if a user is part-time (work time ratio at 50%), the values displayed in the band will be adjusted with a ratio of 0.5.
