π€ What is a role?
A role is a set of permissions that allow a user to access different actions on Elevo. These roles are essential for limiting and controlling access to functionalities or content within the tool.
Roles have been predefined to help you optimize and accelerate set-up. They are based on our in-depth knowledge of customer needs, avoiding complex and time-consuming configuration.

π How do you define the best role?
Access and responsibility management on the platform is divided into three main categories, each corresponding to specific needs:
Global management
- Extended responsibility: users requiring access to all campaigns for global operations or to an entire product.
- Role: Global Administrator, Performance Administrator, Training Administrator.
- Objective: Enable strategic and operational management and decision-making at a global level.
Exceptional Management
- Specific responsibility: Users needing access to one or more specific campaigns for specific tasks.
- Role: Campaign administrator.
- Objective: Provide temporary, relevant access to certain campaigns according to specific responsibilities.
Crossroads management
- Monitoring responsibility: Managers wishing to access the results of certain campaigns for monitoring and reporting purposes, or HR administrators limited to campaign management.
- Role: Campaign manager, campaign administrator or campaign supervisor.
- Objective: Provide partial access to track team performance in specific campaigns without requiring full access.
πͺ Which users have access to roles and permissions management?
Only users with global administrator rights have access to the administrator management functionality and can modify rights and their assignment.
βοΈ How do I set up role assignment?
To access administrator rights management, go to Settings > Administrators.
This page centralizes the various roles assigned, indicating :
- the user concerned,
- the role,
- the last role update,
- and an end-of-line menu for changing or revoking the role.
Possible actions are detailed below:
- Assign global administrator role
- Assign another role
- Assign rights only on one campaign

- Revoke a role
Assign a role
- Click on βAssign a role"
- Select or search for the relevant employee(s)
- Select the βGlobal Administratorβ role from the drop-down menu
- Click on βAssignβ to confirmβ.
Multiples roles can be assigned to a user.
Assign rights only on one campaign
To allow greater granularity and use cases, it is possible to give administrator rights to a single campaign.

Modify a role
To modify an assigned role, click on the βUpdate XXX's role.β menu at the end of the line, then select a new role from the modal drop-down menu before confirming. Changes are effective immediately.
Revoke a role
To modify an assigned role, click on the menu at the end of the line and select βRevoke the role of ...β.
π‘ Note : It is not possible to revoke all administrator rights, as at least 1 global administrator is required on Elevo.

No, that's not possible at the moment. We believe that setting default roles covers most of the needs that have been raised by our customers to date. We look forward to hearing your feedback on this subject, so that we can develop the functionality further if necessary.
