What is the purpose of weighting?
When the weighting is activated, the average completion of all the objectives is measured by taking into account the importance of one objective in relation to another, and the indicators between them. Thus, it allows for a greater finesse in the overall calculation, especially when the achievement of objectives is correlated with a variable salary or a bonus.

👉 Use weighting
Objectives weighting allows all users in your organization to assign a weight to their objectives.
1️⃣ Setting
Once activated :
- all objectives must have a weight (it is not possible to activate this feature for some users),
- all the indicators of the objectives should have a weight,
- Elevo blocks sharing of reviews when the weighting is incorrectly set.
2️⃣ Visual of a weighted objective
The objectives will appear as follows:
3️⃣ Calculation of the weighting
Weighting without indicators
To correctly enter the weighting of goals, the sum of the weights of the goals must be equal to 100%.
The notion of the section refers to the current goals/goals for the new period.
The sum of the weights of the current goals must be equal to 100% and the sum of the weights of the goals of the new period must also be equal to 100%.
Here, the sum is 90%. The review cannot be shared, Elevo will display this message at the end of the review:
Weighting with indicators
The sum of the weights of the indicators must be equal to 100% for each objective.
Here, the sum of the weights of the Objective 1 indicators is 95%. It is therefore invalid.
Objective 2 has only one indicator, which is weighted 100%. This weighted objective is therefore valid.
