This article is intended for administrators.
A 360° Feedback review cycle is a process during which employees can give and receive feedback.
There are already templates integrated into Elevo today. However, if you want to create and customize your templates, you can do so by going to 360 Feedback > Templates.
You then have two options:
- Start from a blank page: click on the +Add a template button,
- Starting from an existing template: click on the 3 dots to the right of the desired template and then on Create a copy.
Let's take the case where you start from a blank page, here are the different steps to create your template:
- 1️⃣ Give a name to your template
- 2️⃣ Enable or disable the options in the box on the right
- 3️⃣ Describe the goals of your review cycle
- 4️⃣ Create your template
- 5️⃣ Preview your template
- 6️⃣ Share your template
1️⃣ Give a name to your template
For example 360° feedback, manager survey, etc.
2️⃣ Enable or disable the options in the box on the right
- Peer selection by the reviewee
- Self evaluation
- The anonymity of peer responses
- Restricted access to results
Peer selection by the reviewee
You can decide to let reviewees submit a list of peers, which will then be validated by the reviewer.
However, you may decide to disable this option, in which case the reviewer will select the peers himself.
Self evaluation
In a 360°, it is often interesting to compare our self-assessment with the assessment of our peers.
However, you can decide whether or not to activate the self-assessment, via the checkbox below.
If the option is enabled, you have a sub-option that allows you to make the participant's self-assessment by peers visible.
The anonymity of peer responses
You can decide to make your 360 feedback review cycle anonymous if you wish.
When this option is enabled, the names of the peers are not displayed on the results screen. A minimum of 3 peers is required on each review to ensure anonymity. If there are fewer than 3 peers, the results will not be displayed.
When the option is enabled, it does not change the fact that peers will have to be selected for each participant. The participant will be able to see the list of peers who are giving feedback but will not have the details of who has left what feedback.
Restricted access to results
You can choose to block the sharing of peer feedback results in the tool. Only the manager and the Admins will have access to it.
If this option is disabled, the reviewee will be able to access the feedback given by their peers once the sharing is done by the reviewer.
3️⃣ Describe the goals of your review cycle
Describe, if you wish, the goals of your review cycle in the Introduction message box.
4️⃣ Create your template
You are now ready to create your survey. To do so, click on Add a block, then choose Title, Dropdown list, Text or Multiple scale
For example, in the example below :
- Title = Skills,
- Question text = Communication and information sharing.
In both cases, you can add a description.
Here: How do you consider that [[reviewee.firstName]] has applied the following skills?
You can use different types of questions.
💡 Note : The Required box allows you to make the answer to a question mandatory. In the case where the scoring system and the comment field are activated, the reviewee/peers will have to answer both types of answers for the answer to be considered valid.
5️⃣ Preview your template
You can preview the template you are creating at any time by clicking on Template preview.
6️⃣ Share your template
You can share a template to any Elevo user by clicking "Share" at the top right of the set-up page.
You will then need to select the user(s) concerned before clicking on “Share”. You cannot select an admin since they already have access to the templates.
💡 Please note that entity admins can only share templates to users they have access to.
They will receive the template in the form of an email notification with an access link and will be able to consult it in read-only mode (without the possibility of making changes) in preview form with the reviewer or reviewee view.
⚠️ Warning: This link must absolutely be kept because it is the only way for the user to access the template. If this link is lost, access to the template will need to be removed for the user and then given back to them (see below).
From the sharing modal, you can see which users have access to the template and revoke their access by clicking on the trash icon.
