When a 360° Feedback review cycle is launched, you, as the manager, will have to validate and/or select the peers of your employees.
✅ Peer validation
Your management/HR team can decide, when setting up the review cycle, to allow the employee to suggest a list of peers. Once the employee submits this list, you will be notified by email.
You will need to validate or modify it by going to 360 Feedback > My Team > Validate Peers.
You will see the list of peers proposed by your employee and can validate it as is or modify it by removing peers or adding (by typing the first letters of the name or surname).
Once the peers are validated, they will be notified by email and can start sharing their feedback.
☝️ Peer selection
If the employees cannot suggest a list of peers, you will have to select them yourself.
By going to 360 Feedback > My Team > Choose Peers.
Simply type in the first few letters of the first or last name of the peers you wish to select and choose them from the drop-down menu.
➡️ Who can choose the peers?
The "Peer selection by the reviewee" option allows the employee to select peers of their choice, which will then be validated by the appraisal manager (after modification if desired). For more details : here.
If this option is not activated, the person in charge of the evaluation will have to select and validate the peers. Peers are systematically validated by the evaluation manager, or an Admin, following these steps.
➡️ How do you select peers?
Reviewee / Reviewers can select peers from the drop-down list, by typing the first few letters of the person's last name/first name.
If the reviewees can suggest peers, instructions/guidance for peer selection can be passed on at the time of campaign launch.
It is advisable to select collaborators who have worked together with the reviewee in the last few months.
