This article is intended for administrators.
Your users are on the base, your template is ready, now it's time to launch your 1st review cycle!
To do this, go to : 360 Feedback > Campaign > + New review cycle. In 6 steps, your review cycle will be launched :
- 1️⃣ Choose the review cycle type and give it a name📍
- 2️⃣ Select the participants and the reviews' responsible 🤓
- 3️⃣ Select the template 📁
- 4️⃣ Set options 📆
- 5️⃣ Customize the emails sent at campaign launch 🖍
- 6️⃣ Launch the review cycle 🚀
💡 Note : People added to Elevo will only be invited to the platform once they are involved in a review cycle (via email notification).
1️⃣ Choose the review cycle type and give it a name📍
2️⃣ Select the participants and the reviews' responsible 🤓
Select participants
You have several options for adding participants:
- Add them one by one using the checkmarks,
- Add everyone,
- Add them in bulk through a csv file : Importing employees in bulk into a campaign
- Add them with filters (here to learn more about using filters).
Here are the steps to follow: + Add > Select filter > Select criterion from drop-down menu > Apply > Select participants one by one or click on + Add X results
Example: filter participants with the criterion "Support Team"
Based on the information entered in their profile, participants belonging to the Support team will appear.
You can then select all of them by clicking on +Add all X results or select them one by one by checking the boxes on the right.
💡 Note: Filters can be combined.
Define the reviewer
You can then define the person responsible for the review:
- the direct manager of the participants,
- an Admin,
- a specific person.
💡 Note: Even if the participants' direct manager is not responsible for the review, he or she will have access to the entire content of the review via the My Team tab.
Define the visibility of the review
You want to launch review campaigns (manager survey, Feedback 360, etc.) with employees without their line managers having access to them? This option allows you to create moments of exchange with employees in complete privacy to facilitate communication between you.
This option is set when creating a new campaign, through 360 Feedback > Campaigns > New review cycle.
💡 Note : By default, the review is visible to the reviewee, people in charge of the feedback campaign, the reviewees' managers, supervisors and administrators.
However, unchecking the box "Visible to manager and supervisors" will make the review visible only to administrators or people in charge of the feedback campaign.
💡 What are the implications for managers?
Managers and supervisors will not be notified by email, they will not have access to this review campaign and they will not see this campaign in their team members' profiles.
⚠️ Warning : In the particular case where the person responsible for the campaign is the employee's direct manager, the limitation of visibility applies only to line managers.
3️⃣ Select the template 📁
You can either choose a previously created template or use the Elevo's example templates.
You can choose the same template for all participants, or assign a different template depending on the participant's profile.
4️⃣ Set options 📆
- Automatic addition of N-1s as peers
This option is particularly suitable for the Manager Survey use case and saves you valuable time.
- Definition of campaign deadlines
This date is informative and conditions the follow-up emails but is not blocking in the tool. Nevertheless, the campaign will remain open as long as an administrator has not archived it.
- Peer selection by the reviewee
You will be able to enter instructions for the nomination of peers.
- Tags

🙋🏻♂️ Questions
➡️ Who can choose the peers?
The "Peer selection by the reviewee" option allows the employee to select peers of their choice, which will then be validated by the reviewer (after modification if desired).
If this option is not activated, the person in charge of the evaluation will have to select and validate the peers. Peers are systematically validated by the evaluation manager, or an Admin, following these steps.
➡️ How do you select peers?
Reviewee / Reviewers can select peers from the drop-down list, by typing the first few letters of the person's last name/first name.
If the reviewees can suggest peers, instructions/guidance for peer selection can be passed on at the time of campaign launch.
It is advisable to select employees who have worked together with the reviewee in the last few months.
➡️ External users: what do they have access to? what will they see?
External users (customers, suppliers, freelancers, etc.) can only participate as peers in a Feedback 360 campaign. Once they have been selected as a peer to give feedback to one of your employees, they are invited by email. By clicking on the login link, they will choose a password, and will then have access to a employee space in your colors, where they can only give feedback and consult the feedback they have left.
External users are not counted in the number of licenses.
➡️ Can the admin see anonymous responses?
Anonymous responses are only possible in a 360 feedback campaign. If this option is enabled, no one can know who wrote the comments and ratings, not even the admin.
Please note that in order to preserve the anonymity of the responses, the feedbacks of the peers in an anonymous campaign can only be consulted once a minimum of 3 feedbacks have been shared.
Here is the article to learn more about this topic.
➡️ Is it possible to run a test campaign? Can I have fake users to do my tests?
It is possible to do tests. As test campaigns generate emails, we advise you to do your tests within your team.
If you do not have synchronization with an HRIS activated, you can create fake users (in the "Users" tab), provided you have a functional email (to be able to receive the invitation to connect to the platform). Note that each fake user will count as an active license. Don't forget to suspend them at the end of your tests.
Before launching your "real" campaign, it is advisable to delete the test campaigns, especially if objective periods have been created. To do this, we invite you to send your request to support@elevo.io specifying the name of the campaigns to be deleted.
➡️ Once it's launched, can I change the template for my campaign?
The settings related to the campaign, which can be modified after the launch, are accessible from the campaign tracking tab: 360 Feedback > Campaign > Click on the campaign.
Here are the parameters that can be modified after the launch of a campaign:
- Campaign name
- Deadlines (evaluated and evaluators)
- Participants (add/remove)
- Form questions - you don't have the hand to do this, so you need to email support@elevo.io with exactly what you want to change. It is only possible to :
- modify the text of a question/answer,
- add a question/answer,
- modify the title of the campaign.
Here are the parameters that cannot be modified after a campaign has been launched:
- Assignment of template(s)
- Form :
- delete a question,
- modify the options,
- The email sent at the launch of the campaign.
